He ASSITEJ National Award for the Performing Arts for Children and Youth is an honorary recognition awarded annually by vote of the members of ASSITEJ Spain. Its aim is to make visible and value the commitment, trajectory and significant contribution of a person, group or entity to the development, promotion and defence of quality performing arts aimed at children and young people.
This award distinguishes those initiatives, trajectories or projects that, through creation, management, research, mediation or education, have made an exemplary contribution to guaranteeing the right of children and young people to access to culture and the performing arts.
The prize has no financial endowment, as its value lies in the symbolic and professional recognition granted by the sector as a whole represented in ASSITEJ Spain. Over the years, the ASSITEJ National Award has established itself as a reference in the field of performing arts for children and young people, reflecting the collective commitment to an inclusive, diverse and accessible culture for all audiences from early childhood.
