Dave Aidan
(Guayaquil, 1995) Stage creator, performer, director, author, teacher, cultural manager and lover of movement and corporal expression. He trained in Interpretation and Theatrical Creation at the Cuarta Pared School in Madrid, and in Corporal Expression at the Schinca School. He is a Higher Technician in Sociocultural Animation.

Throughout her professional career she has trained in contemporary dance, movement, stage direction and dramaturgy with professionals such as Guillermo Heras, Raquel Sánchez, Adolfo Simón, Marta Schinca, Chevi Muraday, the brothers Quique and Yeray Bazo or Santiago Sanguinetti.

In 2022 he creates the performing arts company l'ayapampa, with which it has premiered to date the stage productions Wet (2022), Plating (2022) y H.E.R.R.N.I.A. (premiered as part of the 10th edition of the Muestra de Creación Escénica Surge Madrid en Otoño, 2023), all of which he wrote.

In 2023 he was awarded the second prize ex aequo in the IX Certamen “Francisco Nieva” de Textos Breves para Teatro de Títeres y Teatro de Objetos, organised by the Centro Dramático Rural de Mira, with his work D.U.D.O., published in the Third volume of Contemporary Dramaturgy for Puppetry and Object Theatre, by Ediciones Antígona.

In 2025 he is a finalist of the second edition of the ARREL Competition of short texts for emerging authors, organised by the Cía. Orfeo Teatre, with their work PARASITE, published in the I volume of Raíces Escénicas. He has also been selected with his short theatre text PAPERS, which is part of the XV volume of “Size doesn't matter”: short theatre for young people, co-published by the Asociación de Autoras y Autores de Teatro and Ediciones Antígona.

He has been a teacher and coordinator of the Municipal Theatre School of San Fernando de Henares, in Madrid. He currently combines his work as a creator and playwright with that of Sociocultural Animation Technician at the Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid (CEAR) in Valencia, and is currently training in Cultural Management at the University of Huelva.
